As part of RRH's continuing improvements to IT security, you will now access UpToDate using a single sign-on (SSO) process.

Employees can access UpToDate from any internet browser, through Care Connect, or by downloading the app to your mobile device.

Registration via SSO is a one-time process and you will be automatically signed into UpToDate. 

Moving forward, UpToDate will recognize your account when you access it. 

How to access UpToDate


1. Access UpToDate by visiting https://www.uptodate.com/login/rochesterregional.org  

2. You will be directed to Rochester Regional’s authentication page to enter your SSO credentials. 

3. The first time you access UpToDate via SSO you will be prompted to ‘Register’ for a new account or ‘Merge’ your existing account into your new SSO account. 

If this is your first time accessing UpToDate and you do not have an existing Username and Password, click “Register” and complete all fields on the registration form and then click Submit Registration. 


If you already have an UpToDate Username and Password, click the blue “Merge Accounts” button. 

Enter your existing username and password. Click Sign in. This will retain your current CME/CE/CPD data in one UpToDate user record.
